Purpose
To schedule and coordinate project resources for ERP Systems and Technology Solutions and ensure that time and budget targets are being met.
Description
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are planned and executed in a manner that will lead to meeting the implementation goals within the established timeframe and budget to a high degree of customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager should have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV, GP, Infrastructure Producs and related technologies, but is not typically involved in the actual configuration and customization process. Rather, the Project Manager ensures the technical and application consulting resources are successfully executing on the established project plan.
The Project Manager will work closely with the Customer and the Account Manager to ensure successful completion of the implementation.

Typical Activities
All Project Phases
- Create and maintain the project plan
- Generate Project documentation
- Assign tasks to resources
- Approve project charges such as travel expenses, equipment, or billable time
- Monitor status of project against project plan
- Create and communicate project status reports according to the project's communication plan
- Manage and record billable hours.
- Ensure quality and timeliness for the services
- Manage issue log and assure issues that arise are resolved
- Manage and control Change Request log and forms
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the customer
- Ensure customer acceptance for delivered services
- Provides updates to the Account Manager
Diagnostic
- Prepare and conduct customer meetings
- Plan diagnostic phase
- Scope project phases
- Support creation of proposal
Analysis
- Prepare and conduct the kick-off meeting
- Initiate project planning of all project phases
- Prepare project charter with customer project manager
- Assign adequate resources to the project
Operation
- Schedule and conduct Project Closing meeting and prepare all necessary documents
- Hand over to support team
Other Duties as Assigned
- The tasks indicated are not exclusive. Any Team member may be asked to do other tasks in addition to the listed activities. It is expected that they will comply.
Agile Preparation
- Own and lead all the Project Management activities
- Lead all the Project planning sessions
- Oversee the Solution Overview sessions
- Analyze the User training requirements
- Oversee the Gathering Business Requirements and Fit Gap Analysis activities
- Participate in the creation of Solution Backlog and all related sub-activities
- Participate in the Establishing Integration Strategy sessions
Agile Execution
- Oversee Define Sprint Backlog activity and all related activities
- Participate in the Sprint Planning Sessions
- Participate in the Sprint Technical Preview activities
- Participate in the Sprint Post Mortem activities Liaise with the Customer’s Business Decision Maker (BDM)and Project Manager for acceptance/sign-off
- Work on Project Scope change and Change Request-related activities
- Oversee Solution Testing
Qualifications & Working Conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience managing project implementations
- Degree from an accredited 4 year program, preferably in IT/IS or Engineering
- Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV experience
- PMI certification desirable
Requirements
- Overnight Travel 10%
- 45-50 hours per week
- Will work out of the Waupaca office
