Network Design & Installation Services

Networks thrive or falter depending on the quality of their planning and implementation. A carefully thought-out design will pre-empt a multitude of problems once the network is functional. Our team designs LAN/WANs (local and wide area networks) for relocation’s and new construction; we also plan network expansions, additions of remote locations (creating VPN’s: Virtual Private Networks) and migrations to new platforms.

Network Upgrades

Internal and external changes can affect your network’s performance. Periodic upgrades are necessary to maintain/increase productivity and reduce/eliminate system inefficiencies. ABC Computers can analyze your existing network and uncover problems or weaknesses involving security, license compliance, storage, and server utilization. We will then develop an action plan for problem-solving and system enhancement.

Network Maintenance/System Administration

Networks are complex systems that need to be monitored on an ongoing basis in order to minimize and quickly resolve inevitable problems.  System Administrators are responsible for monitoring system logs (and solving problems gleaned via the logs), installing patches and software upgrades, and resolving issues related to sluggish performance, software conflicts, security, email, spam, DNS, WINS, routing, wireless services and more.  System Administrators also monitor licensing agreements to ensure that companies are in compliance and thereby avoid substantial penalties.

If you don’t have or can’t justify internal staff to perform System Administration, ABC Computers can perform these functions for you.  We can create a Maintenance Package for you with activities completed on a scheduled basis, on-site or remotely. We can also provide full or part-time staff that will be dedicated to your account daily, weekly, or as required.
